Years ago, in the city of Peetal Nagar, there lived a farmer named Kishan. He worked on the fields of a landlord in the village and somehow managed to sustain his household.
Initially, Kishan also had his own fields, but due to his father’s illness, he had to sell all his land. It became challenging for him to afford his father’s treatment and manage the household expenses with the wages he earned from labor.
Every day, Kishan would think about how to improve his family’s situation. Even today, with this thought in mind, Kishan set out to work on the landlord’s fields early in the morning.
While digging, his spade struck a metal object, producing a loud noise. Wondering what it could be, Kishan immediately dug up that part of the field and found a large pot. Upon seeing the pot, Kishan felt saddened.
Kishan thought, “If only this were jewelry, then my family’s situation would improve a bit.” Deciding to at least have a meal, Kishan threw his spade into the pot, washed his hands and face, and began to eat. After finishing his meal, Kishan approached the pot to retrieve his spade.
To his surprise, when he reached for his spade, there wasn’t just one, but many spades inside the pot. He couldn’t understand what was happening. At that moment, he threw a small bag he had near the pot, and suddenly, the bag multiplied as well. Delighted, Kishan brought the magical pot home.
Every day he would put some tools into the pot, and when they multiplied, he would sell the extras in the market. By doing this, Kishan started earning a good income, and he managed to get his father treated. One day, Kishan bought some jewelry and put them into the pot. The jewelry also multiplied.
Gradually, Kishan became rich, and he stopped working as a laborer on the landlord’s fields. Seeing Kishan’s prosperity, the landlord Mohan became envious. He went straight to Kishan’s house.
Upon arriving, he found out about the magical pot. Greedily, the landlord insisted on taking the pot for himself. Despite Kishan’s earnest pleas, Mohan didn’t listen. He forcibly took the magical pot with him.
Mohan, too, started putting various items into the pot to multiply them, but he became greedy and added all his jewelry. As a result, the magical pot broke during the multiplication process.
News of the landlord’s newfound wealth spread to the king of Peetal Nagar. When the king learned about the magical pot, he sent his people to bring it to the royal palace.
In the palace, the king began putting all his treasures into the pot. However, the pot couldn’t handle the excess, and it shattered. With the breaking of the magical pot, numerous kings emerged from it, each claiming to be the real king.
Upon seeing this, Kishan and Mohan realized the consequences of their actions. Due to the king’s foolishness, a dreadful battle broke out among the multiple claimants for the throne. Fighting during the chaos, all the kings died.
As the news of the disastrous battle spread, everyone in the city came to know about the misuse of the magical pot. Kishan and Mohan, reflecting on their actions, understood that it was fortunate the magical pot had not been misused further.
